Shift-Enter vs Ctrl-Enter

November 22, 2011

We are LIVE from MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.  This is the bout of the century, one that we have all been waiting for.  Who will reign supreme and dominate the field of hard returns?  Lets get ready to RUMBLE!

Tale of the Tape

  • Age: 6
  • Length: 36.5mm
  • Weight: Guessing a few grams
  • Birth Place: China

  • Age: 6
  • Length: 22.0mm
  • Weight: Guessing a couple grams less than Shift
  • Birth Place: China

As you can see, we have a very close match up.  Shift has a significant length advantage and has typically over shadowed the much shorter Ctrl.  We shall see if he can use this to his advantage.

I caught some behind the scenes video coverage from one of Shifts’ training camps.  Interesting to note that in combination with the Enter key, he can be used to provide a hard return in a schedule.  A combination I thought could only be used with Ctrl.

I don’t have video coverage of Ctrls’ training camps but we have sparred many-a-nights in the ring.  Not only can he provide a hard return in a schedule, but also in the properties palette.

Winner by Unanimous Decision

He may weigh less and give up significant length but he certainly is more versatile than Shift.  Ctrl, in combination with Enter, is without a doubt the undisputed champion for hard returns.
